Decision on SCCs for data processing agreements

Commission Implementing Decision of 4 June 2021 on standard contractual clauses between controllers and processors under Article 28(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Article 29(7) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council

The Implementing Decisions adopts SCCs for the relationship between controllers and processors. These SCCs fulfil the requirements in Article 28(3) and (4) of GDPR and in Article 29(3) and (4) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 (the Data Protection Regulation applicable to EU institutions, bodies, offices and agencies, ‘EUDPR’).
