Intermediary service providers (ISP) offering services to the recipients of the service that have their place of establishment or are located in the EU. ISPs include:
Internet access providers
Hosting services
Search engines
Online marketplaces
Social networks
Online platforms, including Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs) and Very Large Online Search Engines (VLOSEs) used by more than 10% of the 450 million consumers in the EU
Note that DSA imposes different obligations based on the type, nature, and size of the digital services provided
